The Polish competition authority is hosting an event on September 23, 2026, to celebrate Consumer Awareness Day, aimed at educating young consumers. The event will be broadcasted on Polish Radio for Children at 3:00 PM.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in discussions about consumer rights, pricing, and the importance of receipts. The initiative, titled 'ABC Małego Konsumenta', encourages curiosity and learning through interactive games and activities.

As part of the celebration, educational packages including games like 'Małe memo' and 'Ale pary!' will be distributed, along with a booklet containing crafts, coloring pages, and fun activities. Safety tools, such as cylinders for testing small toy parts, will also be provided to teach children about choking hazards.

All materials can be ordered for free from the UOKiK website, but supplies are limited. Additionally, online games and resources for parents, caregivers, and educators are available at malykonsument.uokik.gov.pl, promoting consumer rights and safety.
