The Lithuanian Competition Council has granted permission for Ekspress Grupp to acquire 100% of the shares in LT Advert, allowing it to take sole control of the company. This acquisition also includes control over the companies Pakelk akis and Dizarto reklama through LT Advert.

The merger notification was submitted on August 6, 2026. After a thorough assessment, the Competition Council concluded that the merger would not create or strengthen a dominant market position or significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets.

Ekspress Grupp is an Estonian media group involved in publishing magazines, newspapers, and books, as well as operating in the online media sector. Delfi, a subsidiary of this group, runs the news portal delfi.lt and offers advertising space and content marketing services. The related companies also assist websites in generating revenue from online display advertising, provide news agency services, and manage YouTube channels.

The companies LT Advert, Pakelk akis, and Dizarto reklama specialize in renting outdoor visual advertising space on digital screens and buildings across Lithuania. The merger was required to be notified to the Competition Council due to the combined revenues exceeding EUR 20 million and the individual revenues of at least two involved companies surpassing EUR 2 million in the previous year.
