The Croatian competition authority actively participated in the European Competition Network (ECN) throughout 2025, engaging in numerous meetings and addressing various notifications.

In 2025, the European Commission continued its practice of holding meetings in various formats, including in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions. The Croatian competition authority (AZTN) maintained a consistent presence at these meetings, participating in working groups, subgroups, advisory committees, and the EU Council working group.

The trend of high inquiry volumes among agencies within the ECN network persisted, with AZTN representatives attending a total of 45 meetings throughout the year. This included 13 virtual meetings and 32 in-person meetings, showcasing the authority's commitment to collaboration and information exchange.

During the year, the Croatian competition authority received and resolved 383 notifications regarding concentrations from the European Commission. Additionally, they addressed 58 requests for information and submitted 2 requests to other member states, further illustrating their active role in the ECN.
