The Polish Competition Authority has accused the Chinese-owned e-commerce platform Temu of violating consumer rights by failing to provide clear information on contractual parties and obligations. The platform is operated in Poland by an Irish company, Whaleco Technology Limited.

Concerns have been raised regarding the presentation of important information to consumers before making a purchase on Temu's website or app. Issues include unclear differentiation between sellers, difficulty in accessing seller data, and the labeling of order buttons.

The Competition Authority is also investigating Temu's pricing practices and other consumer-related information disclosures.
