The Competition Council is organizing a seminar on the monitoring and investigation of abusive practices related to dominant positions, highlighting them as serious violations of competition law. Companies in dominant positions must adhere to specific behavioral rules to prevent hindering normal competition processes.
The seminar aims to explain what constitutes a dominant position, how to identify it, and crucially, when actions of a company in a dominant position may be considered problematic.
In addition to discussing case examples from the Competition Council and the European Commission, the seminar will provide a deeper understanding of possible forms of violations.
