Yann Anselin Takes on Role as Deputy Head of French Competition Authority's Legal Department

Yann Anselin has been appointed as the Deputy Head of the Legal Department at the French competition authority, effective February 3, 2025.


Yann Anselin will assume the role of Deputy to the Head of the Legal Department, Mathias Pigeat, starting February 3, 2025. He will collaborate with fellow Deputy Heads Gaëlle Le Breton and Thomas Guérin in overseeing legal matters within the authority.

Anselin brings a wealth of experience to his new position, holding a Master’s degree in business law and management from Paris II University, an LL.M in European Union law and competition from Saarland University, and the CAPA qualification to practice law in France. His career spans over 14 years as a lawyer specializing in commercial and competition law.

In 2022, Anselin joined the Legal Department of the Autorité de la concurrence as a legal advisor, where he has been involved in various legal matters pertaining to competition law.
