The Polish Competition Authority (UOKiK) has issued Decision No DKK-211/2026 on September 22, 2026, granting approval for Hanza AB, based in Kista, Sweden, to acquire control over Fortaco sp. z o.o. and Fortaco JL sp. z o.o., both located in Poland, as well as Fortaco Estonia OÜ in Estonia and a portion of Fortaco Finland in Finland.
The decision follows an antitrust investigation initiated at the request of Hanza AB. The authority determined that the merger would not significantly impede effective competition in the market.
Notably, the decision did not require any remedies or conditions, as it fully aligned with the request made by Hanza AB. The authority opted not to provide a detailed justification for the decision, citing that it did not resolve any contentious interests and was not made in response to an appeal.
