The Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) has officially approved the creation of the joint venture ADV Automotive Group, formed by the Vanspringel, Abeloos, and De Groof groups, which are active in the motor vehicle distribution sector.

This decision, made on December 5, 2025, follows the notification of the concentration on November 28, 2025, and the request for a simplified procedure. The joint venture will take over the Ford and Mazda dealership activities from the parent companies and their subsidiaries.

The Vanspringel Group operates Ford dealerships in various locations in Belgium, while the Abeloos Group also manages Ford dealerships in Vilvoorde and Schaerbeek. The De Groof Group is involved with both Ford and Mazda brands, operating dealerships and providing maintenance and repair services.

The BCA found that the conditions for applying the simplified procedure were met and concluded that the merger does not raise any objections, allowing the parties to proceed with their plans.
