The Polish competition authority, UOKiK, is calling for submissions for its annual competition aimed at master's theses focused on competition and consumer protection. The competition is open to theses written in Polish or English, with a submission deadline of November 28, 2025.

Participants can win cash prizes of 7,000 PLN for the best thesis, along with opportunities for publication and paid internships at UOKiK. The competition encourages innovative and well-researched work, with a focus on originality and strong argumentation.

Theses must have been defended at a Polish university between October 15, 2024, and October 15, 2025, and must have received at least a 'very good' grade. Submissions should include a completed form, a copy of the thesis, a one-page summary, and a certificate from the university confirming the defense date, topic, and grade.

Additionally, UOKiK is also running a competition for doctoral dissertations on similar topics, with a main prize of 10,000 PLN, accepting submissions until November 30, 2027.
