On February 27, 2026, Pascal Lagrue was appointed to the Board of the Autorité de la concurrence by decree of the President of the French Republic. He takes over from David Rousset, who was thanked for his contributions.

Lagrue is a seasoned professional with a background in civil, employment, and commercial law, as well as journalism. He has extensive experience in social dialogue and consumer advocacy, having held various roles in trade unions and social security organizations since 2002.

His recent positions include Confederal Secretary of the Force Ouvrière trade union and President of the Association Force Ouvrière Consommateurs, where he represents consumer interests at various levels. Lagrue's appointment adds valuable expertise to the Board, which consists of 17 members from diverse backgrounds, including judges, professors, and economic leaders.
