The Polish competition authority, through the Commercial Inspection, has undertaken a thorough examination of children's toys in preparation for Children's Day. This initiative aims to ensure the safety and quality of toys available in the market.

During the inspection, 50 different toy models were evaluated, including rattles, teething toys, and interactive toys. Alarmingly, 23 of these models were found to have improper labeling or construction defects, raising concerns about their safety for young children.

The Commercial Inspection operates under the directive of the President of the Polish competition authority and conducts ongoing checks throughout the year to monitor the quality and safety of toys. The latest report highlights the importance of consumers checking for CE marks, reading labels, and being aware of warnings when selecting toys for children.
