The Polish competition authority has recently completed an inspection of 30 children's vehicles, including tricycles and scooters. The inspection aimed to assess the safety and compliance of these products with existing regulations.

Out of the 30 models inspected, 14 were found to have serious design flaws. Issues included improper spacing between the wheel and frame, small wheel sizes, detachable parts, and overall instability of the vehicles. These defects pose potential safety risks to young users.

Additionally, half of the products inspected exhibited labeling irregularities. The most common issues were related to missing or incorrect warnings and instructions, which are crucial for ensuring safe usage of the vehicles.

Małgorzata Cieloch, the spokesperson for the Polish competition authority, emphasized the importance of product safety and the need for manufacturers to adhere to proper standards to protect consumers, especially children.
