The Croatian Competition Agency (CCA) was represented by Sandi Valentinc, the Head of the Department for International and European Cooperation, at the OECD Competition Committee meeting held in Paris from June 16 to 20, 2025.

The CCA has been actively collaborating with the OECD, participating in the Competition Committee since June 2016 and engaging in the Global Forum on Competition, which includes jurisdictions worldwide, regardless of OECD membership.

The recent meeting featured a series of roundtable discussions and debates, where participants contributed both written and oral insights. Key topics included the impact assessment of competition authorities' activities, efficiencies in merger control, competition in mobile payment services, competition in cloud computing services, and the influence of corporations in competition policymaking.

During the meeting, the CCA provided a written contribution on the topic of efficiencies in merger control and also presented a written and oral contribution related to the Annual Report for 2024, highlighting cases managed by the CCA over the past year.
