Competition Authority Imposes Over PLN 37 Million in Fines for Collusion in the Sale of Surveillance Equipment
Dahua Technology Poland, one of the largest producers of electronic surveillance equipment in the country, has been fined over PLN 37 million by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) for engaging in anti-competitive practices with its distributors.

Dahua Technology Poland has been found to have engaged in anti-competitive practices by colluding with its distributors to fix prices and divide the market. The President of UOKiK has imposed fines totaling over PLN 37 million on the company and seven individuals responsible for the illegal agreement. The practices involved setting minimum prices, imposing rigid pricing during promotions, and allocating customers to specific distributors. The fines imposed on the companies range from PLN 1.75 million to PLN 22.19 million, while the fines on the individuals range from PLN 42,500 to PLN 245,000. The decision is not final and can be appealed.
