The CNMC has launched a sanctioning procedure against multiple companies operating in the executive aviation sector, including Air Taxis Handling, Aviapartner Spain, General Aviation Services, Mallorcair, Sky Valet Spain, United Aviation Services, and Universal Aviation Spain. This action follows allegations of anticompetitive behavior, including market sharing agreements, price fixing, and the exchange of sensitive commercial information.

The investigation was prompted by a report from Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (AENA), which indicated potential anticompetitive practices affecting several tenders for leasing fixed-base operations (FBO) facilities. The CNMC conducted inspections at the offices of the implicated companies between May and June 2024.

The initiation of this procedure does not prejudge the outcome of the investigation, which has a maximum resolution period of 24 months.
