Telewizja Polsat and Teleaudio Dwa organized an SMS contest on New Year's Eve, promising viewers the chance to win cars or 100,000 PLN. However, the President of UOKiK found that the companies misled consumers about the rules, costs, and prizes of the contest. Sending a single SMS did not allow participation in the game for any prizes, and participants had to send multiple SMS messages and answer additional questions to qualify for the final round. The companies have been fined a total of nearly 10 million PLN for their misleading practices.
