Nine out of ten Spaniards have fixed broadband at home

The majority of Spanish households have fixed broadband, while the use of landline telephony continues to decline.

According to the latest data from the CNMC Household Panel, 87.7% of Spanish households have fixed broadband, a 15% increase compared to the second quarter of 2015. However, landline telephony is still present in 72.1% of households, showing a downward trend. The average monthly cost for a quintuple service package, which includes fixed and mobile telephony, fixed and mobile broadband, and pay TV, reached €78.4. The study also revealed an increase in household spending on these services since the end of 2022.
