The Czech competition authority, known as ÚOHS, has granted approval for the merger between MERIT SPV a.s. and HYDRAULICS s.r.o. This acquisition enables MERIT SPV to gain exclusive control over HYDRAULICS.

The merger primarily involves the production and sale of hydraulic machines, hydraulic systems, hydraulic cylinders, parts, and components, as well as the sale of metallurgical materials.

MERIT SPV is part of the CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP, which is led by CSG FIN a.s. This group operates in the defense, industrial, and technology sectors through five divisions, including the production of military vehicles, ammunition, aviation technology, and rail vehicles.

HYDRAULICS s.r.o. specializes in the manufacturing, distribution, and sale of hydraulic machines, systems, and components.

The merger was assessed under a simplified procedure, and the authority confirmed that it would not significantly disrupt competition in the relevant markets. The decision is final.
