The CNMC is investigating the Extremadura Agribusiness Exchange for potential violations of competition laws by providing unverified information on average prices of various agricultural products, specifically wool.

This action could be considered as a collective price recommendation contrary to competition laws, stemming from the internal regulations, structure, and working methods of the Exchange and its integrated Price Boards.

The initiation of this investigation does not determine the final outcome, with a maximum period of 24 months set for resolution.
