The Polish competition authority conducted an inspection of 20 different models of lamps, ceiling lights, and wall sconces following consumer complaints. The results were alarming, as 17 of the inspected models exhibited construction flaws or inadequate fire protection.

More than half of the models had multiple construction inconsistencies, raising serious concerns about consumer safety. Additionally, six of the lighting fixtures failed to provide complete information regarding safe usage, which is a formal compliance issue.

This inspection highlights the importance of regulatory oversight in ensuring that consumer products meet safety standards and the need for manufacturers to adhere to proper construction guidelines.
