This action aims to assess whether Trgovina Krk has exploited its strong bargaining power to impose unfair conditions on its suppliers of agricultural and food products.

The decision to initiate this proceeding follows a preliminary investigation into the agri and food market, which included an examination of compliance with the UTPs Act by various retail sector buyers, including Trgovina Krk. The CCA emphasizes that the initiation of an administrative procedure does not imply that unfair trading practices have occurred.
