The Italian Competition Authority took action against Campello S.p.A. and Microlino Italia S.r.l. for displaying vague and unsubstantiated green claims on their websites promoting XEV YOYO and Microlino urban electric vehicles.

The claims made on www.xevcars.it and www.microlino-car.com regarding the environmental impact of the vehicles were found to be generic and lacking specific details about the product's life cycle stages they referred to.

Following the Authority's intervention, the companies removed the misleading green claims from their advertising messages for XEV YOYO and Microlino cars.
