CMA investigates Calor Gas Limited for LPG Orders violations

The CMA found that Calor Gas Limited breached LPG Orders by failing to notify customers of their right to switch suppliers, affecting nearly 6,000 customers.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) discovered that Calor Gas Limited violated the Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation Order and the Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation (Metered Estates) Order by not informing customers about their ability to switch suppliers within the specified timeframe. Calor Gas failed to send reminders to 5,923 customers regarding the end of their exclusive supply contracts. The company has since notified all affected customers of the breach.
