The Greek Competition Authority (ΕΑ) is set to hold a webinar on February 26, 2026, from 10:30 to 13:30, to present the interim report of its sectoral research on banking deposits.

This event is part of the public consultation process for the interim report, inviting stakeholders to submit comments and observations.

During the webinar, the ΕΑ will outline key findings from the research, which investigates competition conditions in the banking deposit market and factors influencing interest rate formation. The aim is to identify any distortions and propose measures to enhance competition for the benefit of depositors, including households and businesses.

Representatives from institutional bodies, the Bank of Greece, consumer associations, and the academic community will participate, fostering a productive public dialogue. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
