The Polish Competition Authority has approved a merger involving three entities, allowing them to form a joint venture without any conditions or remedies.

31.08.2026 | Polish Competition Authority (DKK)

The Polish Competition Authority (DKK) issued Decision No DKK-191/2026 on September 1, 2026, approving a merger between Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A., Bogusław Cupiał Fundacja Rodzinna, and DeepOcean Investco 1 AS. The decision was made following an antitrust investigation initiated at the request of the involved parties.

The merger allows the three entities to create a joint venture as outlined in their application. The authority noted that the decision did not require further justification since it fully met the requests of the parties involved and did not resolve any contentious interests.

As per the legal framework, the decision is subject to appeal to the District Court in Warsaw within one month of its delivery. The appeal process may incur a fixed fee of 1000 PLN unless the court grants an exemption based on the financial status of the appealing party.
