The Belgian Competition Authority has approved GIMV's acquisition of TDP, finding no competitive overlaps between the two companies.

On December 13, 2024, the Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) announced its approval of GIMV's acquisition of TDP. The acquisition was notified to the BCA on December 4, 2024, with a request for the application of a simplified procedure.

GIMV is an investment firm that specializes in direct investments in small to medium-sized enterprises located in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. It is controlled by WorxInvest. TDP, on the other hand, is involved in the development, investment, and management of various infrastructure projects and selective real estate.

Following its investigation, the BCA concluded that the acquisition would not create any competitive overlaps between GIMV and TDP. Consequently, the BCA determined that the conditions for applying the simplified procedure were satisfied, and the acquisition raised no objections.
