The Greek Competition Authority's plenary session has unanimously decided to impose a reduced fine of €127,314 on the company 'ATLANTA REPRESENTATIONS - DISTRIBUTIONS S.A.' for violating competition laws.

This case pertains to the ready-to-eat cereal market, where the involved company was found to have engaged in practices that constituted a breach of Article 1 of Law 3959/2011 and Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) related to vertical agreements.

Evidence collected indicated that the company participated in resale price maintenance, which was significantly adhered to by collaborating retail stores and supermarket chains. The infringement lasted from March 9, 2021, to August 31, 2021, and is noted as a restriction of competition by its very nature.
