Roundtable on Green Transition and Market Competition Scheduled for March 2026

The Croatian competition authority, in collaboration with Poslovni dnevnik, is hosting a roundtable titled 'Green Transition and Market Competition – Regulatory Challenges, Market Rules, and Sustainable Economy' on March 16, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Hotel International, Next Level Hall.
The event will feature opening remarks from the Minister of Environment and Green Transition, Marija Vučković, and Dr. Mirta Kapural, President of the Croatian Competition Council. Notable participants include Martijn Snoep, President of the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets, and Professor Ana Đanić Čeko from the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek.
The aim of the roundtable is to stimulate expert discussion on regulatory challenges, market rules, and the role of market competition in the context of the green transition and sustainable economic development. Special emphasis will be placed on aligning competition protection goals with climate and environmental policies, as well as the role of regulators and market participants in implementing the green transition.
Participation is intended for experts from regulatory bodies, state and public administration institutions, entrepreneurs, business community representatives, and other interested professionals and the general public.
