Das Bundeskartellamt hat den Erwerb sämtlicher Anteile an der im südlichen Baden-Württemberg im Straßenbau tätigen Stumpp-Gruppe durch die Strabag AG unter der aufschiebenden Bedingung freigegeben, dass Stumpp sein Walzasphaltmischwerk in Zimmern vor Vollzug des Zusammenschlusses an einen unabhängigen Erwerber veräußert.

Strabag's Acquisition of Stumpp Group Approved with Conditions

The Bundeskartellamt, Germany's competition authority, has granted approval for Strabag AG to acquire all shares of the Stumpp Group, a company engaged in road construction in southern Baden-Württemberg.

 This approval comes with a condition: Stumpp must sell its asphalt mixing plant located in Zimmern to an independent buyer before the merger is finalized.

 This decision aims to maintain competition in the market and prevent any potential monopolistic behavior resulting from the merger.
