The Spanish Competition Authority (CNMC) has approved two reports evaluating the Real Spanish Football Federation's (RFEF) proposals for commercializing audiovisual rights in certain women's football and futsal competitions. These rights cover events like the Copa de S. M. la Reina and the women's Supercup, as well as various futsal competitions.

The CNMC found that the proposed commercialization terms do not align with the requirements set forth in the Real Decree-law 5/2015. Recommendations include respecting legal limitations, clarifying evaluation criteria for offers, and ensuring a competitive and transparent process.

These reports are issued under Article 4 of the Real Decree-law 5/2015, which mandates that commercial entities seeking to market audiovisual exploitation rights for professional football competitions must request a prior assessment from the CNMC.
