The Competition Council (CC) is organizing free online seminars for representatives of non-governmental organizations, associations, and businesses to educate them on competition law basics and prevent violations of the Competition Law.
The seminars feature experts sharing essential information, practical advice, examples from Latvian and international practices, and addressing specific questions. The CC Chairman, Juris Gaiķis, emphasizes the importance of preventive education in deterring competition law breaches.
The upcoming free seminars cover topics such as 'What associations need to know about competition law?' and 'Prohibited agreements - what businesses should be aware of?' The seminars will take place on specific dates and will be conducted on the MS Teams platform.
