The Czech Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) is organizing a webinar aimed at entrepreneurs, in-house lawyers, compliance specialists, and managers. This event will provide practical guidance on preventing and managing risks related to competition law.

The webinar is designed to address common situations faced by companies and will focus on how to avoid risks and properly set up internal processes. Participants will learn about key issues in everyday business practices, including bid rigging, resale price maintenance, abuse of dominance, and other forms of competition restriction.

The second part of the seminar will explain how the leniency program works, how to establish an effective compliance program, and how to cooperate with the authority during local investigations. This knowledge can help companies save significant costs and reduce reputational risks associated with potential proceedings before the authority.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (online via Webex). Registration is open until December 31, 2025, via email at romana.skacelova@uohs.gov.cz.
