European consumer authorities have collaborated with Vinted to ensure clearer information on prices and conditions for consumers. Vinted, an online platform for secondhand items, will now display total order prices more transparently and provide clearer instructions on refund processes for undelivered orders.

The action was initiated by the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority, as Vinted is headquartered in Lithuania. The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) is also involved in monitoring Vinted's compliance with the agreed-upon improvements across European markets, including the Netherlands.

Under the Digital Services Act (DSA), platforms like Vinted are required to adhere to additional regulations, prompting closer scrutiny by authorities to ensure compliance.
