Vivien Terrien has been appointed as the new Vice-President of the Autorité de la concurrence in France, succeeding Henri Piffaut, with several members of the Board also being re-appointed.

Vivien Terrien has been appointed as the new Vice-President of the Autorité de la concurrence, succeeding Henri Piffaut. Several members of the Board have also been re-appointed, including Valérie Bros, Catherine Prieto, Savinien Grignon-Dumoulin, and Jérôme Pouyet.

Terrien holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School and has a background in French and European competition law. He has served in various legal capacities, including as a legal clerk at the General Court of the European Union.

Terrien is actively involved in competition law education and advisory roles, including with the International Competition Network and the Research Institute Advancing Competition Law and Economics in Small Market and Insular Economies.
