The Polish Competition Authority has approved the merger between Michael/Ström Investment Funds and Michael/Ström Corporate Bonds Fund, allowing the former to gain control over the latter without any conditions or remedies.

18.12.2025 | Polish Competition Authority (DKK)

The Polish Competition Authority (UOKiK) issued Decision No DKK-308/2025 on December 19, 2025, approving the merger between Michael/Ström Investment Funds S.A. and Michael/Ström Corporate Bonds Fund. This decision follows an antitrust investigation initiated at the request of Michael/Ström Investment Funds.

The authority determined that the merger would not raise any competition concerns and therefore did not require any remedies or further investigation. The decision was made without a detailed justification as it fully met the requests of the parties involved and did not address any contentious interests.

As per the Polish competition law, the decision allows for an appeal to the District Court in Warsaw within one month of its delivery, with a fixed court fee of 1000 PLN applicable for the appeal process.
