The Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) has given the green light to the acquisition of PGZ Holding by Pon Luxury Cars on June 17, 2024. The transaction was notified on May 30, 2024, with a request for the simplified procedure.

Pon Luxury Cars, a Dutch company under the Pon Group, is involved in various activities in Belgium, including the sale of bicycles, leasing platform services for bicycles, rental of equipment, sale of marine engines, and car sales and maintenance. PGZ Holding, on the other hand, operates in the Netherlands, specializing in the sale of Porsche and Bentley cars, electric motorbikes, and exclusive imports of luxury used cars.

The BCA's decision concluded that the conditions for the simplified procedure were met, and no competition concerns were raised by the acquisition.
