The Croatian Competition Agency (CCA) conducted a surprise inspection at two driving schools in Split suspected of entering into a price-fixing agreement for training candidates for operating motor vehicles.

The Croatian Competition Agency (CCA) carried out a surprise inspection at the business premises of Auto škola Kružni tok and Auto škola Hajduk, following indications of a price-fixing agreement for training candidates in motor vehicle operation categories A and B.

The inspection aimed to gather evidence of anti-competitive behavior and determine if the driving schools sanctioned non-participating schools in the Split area.

The CCA will assess whether the driving schools violated competition rules by setting prices for their services based on the evidence collected during the inspection.

The initiation of an infringement proceeding and the inspection do not predetermine the CCA's final decision on the case.
