CMA to Host 2025 International Competition Network Conference

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) will host the International Competition Network (ICN) conference in 2025, succeeding Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).

The CMA will host the ICN conference in 2025, taking over from Brazil's CADE. The ICN comprises 141 competition authorities from 129 countries, advocating for global cooperation in competition policy. The annual conference aims to enhance international cooperation, share experiences, and address common challenges. The CMA's Chief Executive expressed excitement about strengthening relationships and enforcing competition law effectively. The conference is scheduled to be held in Edinburgh in May 2025.
