The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued an order approving the budget for the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority for the year 2026. This approval follows the FTC's requirement for oversight of the Authority, which includes publishing the proposed budget in the Federal Register.

As part of the oversight process, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the proposed budget. After reviewing the feedback received during the public comment period, the Commission voted to approve the budget with a unanimous decision of 2-0.
