In June, the CNMC greenlit twelve concentration operations, including acquisitions in various sectors like waste management, pharmaceuticals, and retail, without posing significant competition concerns in Spain.

The CNMC approved twelve concentration operations in June, with Nexxus gaining control of Creta and Contenur, Visalia acquiring Serosense, and Damirsa taking over Tanatorios y Crematorios de Huelva. These acquisitions were found not to harm competition due to the absence of significant overlaps in the Spanish markets.

Merz acquired Acorda's business, Esteve bought Perrigo's medication division, and Palex Medical acquired Izasa, with none of these transactions raising competition concerns in Spain. The CNMC's scrutiny highlights the importance of assessing potential impacts on competition in relevant markets.

Several companies, including Dea Capital and Goodlife Foods, underwent changes in ownership, but these did not threaten competition in their respective markets. The merger between Condis Supermercats and Roges Supermercats slightly increased retail market concentration but did not significantly impact competition.
