The Polish competition authority is hosting a free webinar titled 'One Click and Instant Profit? Internet Opportunities' on March 20 at 12:00 PM as part of Global Money Week. This event aims to educate participants on how to conduct online research and verify internet opportunities using reliable sources.

Targeted at students, teachers, and educators, the webinar will feature Małgorzata Cieloch, Director of the Communication Department at the Polish competition authority, and Dariusz Łomowski, Director of the Gdańsk Delegation. They will discuss fact-checking and provide advice on how to avoid online traps.

Global Money Week is an annual campaign that promotes financial education for children and youth. This year's theme, 'Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow,' highlights the changes in digital finance and how consumers engage with financial services online, from following financial influencers to the increased use of artificial intelligence.

The event is organized by the International Network for Financial Education under the OECD/INFE, with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority coordinating the initiative. The Polish competition authority is a partner of this event.
