The Belgian competition authority has announced the receipt of a notification concerning a concentration under Article IV.10, § 1 of the Economic Law Code. This notification pertains to the acquisition of joint control by Africa Global Logistics (AGL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAS Shipping Agencies Services S.à r.l., over Remant Africa Logistics, alongside Remant NV.

The concentration is relevant to the maritime and coastal freight transport sector and other transport support activities. Remant NV is a transport brokerage company that offers innovative and flexible logistics solutions tailored to client transport needs, with a strong focus on Africa, Asia, America, and the Middle East. The target company, Remant Africa Logistics, provides transport brokerage services between Europe and Africa.

The notifying party has requested the application of the simplified procedure for this concentration. Interested third parties are invited to submit their comments regarding the proposed concentration by March 27, 2026, via email.
