The Czech competition authority, known as Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže (ÚOHS), has granted approval for AMISTA consulting, s.r.o. to acquire J&T Digital Shield SICAV a.s. This decision was made through a simplified procedure and is now final.

AMISTA consulting is part of the J&T FINANCE GROUP SE and specializes in business, strategic, and organizational consulting services. It also acts as a service company for its sister company, AMISTA investiční společnost, a.s., which manages qualified investor funds.

On the other hand, J&T Digital Shield is an investment fund focused on qualified investors, operating in the information technology sector. It primarily provides comprehensive cybersecurity services along with consulting and educational services in the field of cybersecurity.

The authority concluded that the merger would not lead to a significant distortion of competition, thus allowing the transaction to proceed.
