The CNMC has challenged several regional regulations in Spain. In Asturias, a requirement for postal operators to have offices in 19 main towns was deemed disproportionate. In Castilla-La Mancha, restrictions on who can certify electrical installations were contested. Other issues include professional reservations in architecture and engineering, unreasonable demands for electric vehicle charging stations, restrictions on vehicle rental markets, denials of commercial licenses, and obstacles to fiber optic installations in various municipalities.
