New Vice-Presidents Appointed at French Competition Authority
Isabelle Fenayrou and Thibaud Vergé have been reappointed as Vice-Presidents of the French competition authority, Autorité de la concurrence, by presidential decree.

On 28 September 2026, the President of the French Republic issued a decree reappointing Isabelle Fenayrou and Thibaud Vergé as Vice-Presidents of the Autorité de la concurrence. This announcement was published in the Journal officiel on 29 September 2026.
Thibaud Vergé, who holds a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics, has been serving as Vice-President since 27 December 2022. He has also been a member of the Economic Advisory Group on Competition Policy at DG Competition from 2020 to 2024 and teaches at ENSAE Paris.
Isabelle Fenayrou, with a Master’s degree in Private Law from Paris II Panthéon Assas University and a Bachelor of Laws from King’s College London, was previously the President of the Economic and Financial Regulation Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal before joining the Autorité de la concurrence in 2026.
The Board of the Autorité de la concurrence consists of 17 members, including the President and four Vice-Presidents who serve full-time, while the remaining 12 members are non-permanent.
