On December 22, 2025, the Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) announced its approval of the acquisition of sole control of IFW Globe by Sofindev VI. The transaction was notified on December 16, 2025, and the BCA applied a simplified procedure for the review.

Sofindev VI is an investment company focused on private equity investments in small and medium-sized enterprises across the Benelux region. The company has experience in various sectors, including digital business services, logistics, and manufacturing.

IFW Globe is a holding company that owns 100% of the shares of two freight forwarding companies, Shipex NV and VDH Forwarding BV, which facilitate import and export freight transport. The BCA determined that the conditions for the simplified procedure were met and that the concentration did not raise any objections.
