Bauer Media France has received unconditional clearance from the French competition authority, the Autorité de la concurrence, for its acquisition of the Télé 7 Jours brand assets. This includes the magazines Télé 7 Jours, Télé 7 Jeux, and Télé 7 Jours Jeux, along with a mobile application.

The acquisition was notified to the Autorité on November 6, 2025, and after a thorough examination, the authority concluded that the transaction would not harm competition in the relevant markets. The analysis focused on various sectors, including weekly TV guide magazines and online advertising.

The Autorité found that the new entity's market shares would remain below 25%, indicating a limited competitive impact. Furthermore, the new entity will continue to face significant competition from other players in the market.

As a result, the Autorité de la concurrence has cleared the transaction unconditionally, allowing Bauer Media France to proceed with the acquisition.
