The Latvian Competition Council, in collaboration with competition authorities from Lithuania and Poland, as well as the OECD, is implementing a project aimed at promoting competitiveness in the digital markets of Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.

The project involves market research on online platforms and ecosystems in the three countries, identifying key market players, potential competition issues, and providing recommendations for addressing them. Capacity-building activities such as training and practical seminars will also be conducted.

The project, funded under the EU Technical Assistance Instrument program, is expected to last 21 months and aims to maintain openness and competitiveness in the digital markets, especially for smaller businesses without market power in specific regions or countries.
