The Polish competition authority, UOKiK, has launched the 4th edition of its Summer Camp UOKiK’26, designed for students interested in competition law and economics. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for participants to engage in practical workshops that delve into antitrust cases and the workings of competition analysts.

During the five-day program, which will take place from September 14 to 18, 2026, students will learn about various aspects of competition protection, including how to identify cartels and abuse of dominance. The camp will feature sessions led by UOKiK practitioners and guest experts, covering topics from economic aspects to unfair practices and competition-restricting agreements.

Participants will also have the chance to analyze case studies related to antitrust violations and learn about investigative techniques such as OSINT (Open Source Intelligence). The program aims to provide valuable experience and may lead to paid internships at UOKiK for the most engaged participants.

Additionally, UOKiK is holding competitions for the best master's and doctoral theses on competition and consumer protection, with cash prizes totaling 84,000 PLN and opportunities for publication and internships for winners. Submissions for master's theses are open until November 30, 2026, and for doctoral theses until November 30, 2027.
