The Portuguese competition authority (AdC) is inviting interested individuals to apply for the position of non-governmental advisors (NGAs) within the International Competition Network (ICN). This initiative aims to strengthen international cooperation by involving experts from various fields.

NGAs will play a crucial role in the ICN, contributing their expertise to discussions and the formulation of international best practices in competition law. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to join one of several Working Groups, including Agency Effectiveness, Advocacy, Cartels, Mergers, and Unilateral Conduct.

This role offers a unique chance to collaborate with professionals from different jurisdictions and to influence the development of competition policy on a global scale. Interested candidates must submit their applications by 4 September 2026, including a CV and a motivation letter specifying their preferred working group.
